There are a few ways you can make a booking with us.
Firstly, you can click on the booking icon that is on every page on this website.
At the moment, this booking engine is linked to hostelbookers.com. This is because they offer the cheapest way to book. If this changes, then the booking engine will change too.
The way booking on-line works is that you fill in the details that hostelbookers.com ask for. They take 10% of the booking costs from your credit card for themselves (you won't get this back if you cancel) and then pay us the other 90% when you get here.
The good thing about hostelbookers is they don't charge any other fee so you are not getting screwed for booking on-line. We put special offers up on their site sometimes too so check it out sometime.
You can book a bed with us on hostelworld.com and hostelclub.com too.
Secondly, you can send us an e-mail (greendoorbookings@gmail.com).
We reply to e-mails within a day or two and can usually deal with most queries this way.
However, just bear in mind that we will need your credit card details to make a booking and booking on-line is a little more secure.
Thirdly, you can telephone us (00353419834422) between the hours of 10.00 and 21.00 (GMT). Again the same applies as with e-mails about credit cards and security.
After you've booked make sure you get a booking reference number from whichever one of us you were dealing with, incase you have a query later.
Remember, we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. This means if you are not going to stay with us but you have booked, you need to tell us by 15.30 (GMT) the day before you arrive, otherwise your card will be charged for the first night of your stay. It might seem a bit harsh, but some people don't seem to understand that it's no fun having a receptionist waiting until 4 o' clock in the morning for someone to arrive who decided to stay with a friend instead (and it has happened Ð until we brought in this little rule).
